Tactile Cube

Built for ART STUDIO 160. Core constructed out of foam core. Modeling clay applied to each side, on which I created a unique texture. One side I left detached. I embedded magnets in the four corners such that this side [top] was removable, yet wouldn’t fall off when the cube was handled and turned upside down. I lined the interior of the cube with soft foam and velvet. Now it holds my keepsakes.
